Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Liqo mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Liqo is an on-device AI agent application that analyzes your social media activity (with your explicit consent) to build a personalized AI profile. All data processing occurs locally on your device. Liqo does not operate servers that store or process your personal data.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Liqo. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account and Subscription

Liqo uses your Apple ID for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID.
A paid subscription is required to access Liqo's features. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's App Store.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.

5. User Data and Privacy

All AI processing and data storage happens locally on your device.
We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server.
You grant Liqo permission to access your X (Twitter) data solely for on-device analysis when you authorize the connection.
You may delete all your data at any time from within the App.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its AI models.
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Attempt to extract or redistribute the AI model files included in the App.
Use the App in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the service.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by Liqo. The AI model (Qwen2.5) is used under its open-source license. Your personal data and AI profile belong to you and remain on your device.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Liqo does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use AI outputs at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liqo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or reliance on AI-generated content.

10. Third-Party Services

Liqo integrates with third-party services:

X (Twitter): For social data collection with your authorization, subject to X's Terms of Service.
Apple App Store: For subscription billing, subject to Apple's terms.
Web Search: Optional feature that queries public web results. No personal data is included in search queries.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App or our website.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion. Upon termination, your subscription will be cancelled but all local data remains on your device under your control.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
